Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
This chocoholics nook is small place in the same line as Mulani Opticals in Jayanagar 3rd Block. It is just before Sapna Book House and Nandhini. This brown little place of choco sin peddles its wares from what used to earlier be a handicrafts store. A little chit-chat with the owners brought out the fact that handicrafts had been their earlier venture.
The place is small and is packed with all forms of chocolate. I wouldn't say that they have chocolates that you won't find elsewhere, but they do have a lot of different chocolates under the same roof. Every mentionable foreign brand has... read more
I visited Infinitea a long time ago, when the concept was first introduced in Bangalore. A place where tea and not coffee took precedence. And when I say tea, it is much much more than the milk and sugar variety.
We decided to sit on the mezzanine floor at a comfy corner table. The tea menu was given to us separately much like a bar menu. Hubby, a staunch coffee drinker decided to try the strong flavored pomegranate ice tea. It was really nice ice tea with a reaaallly strong flavor of pomegranate. I decided to have one of the bitter teas - Enigma. To me it looked like scotch on the rocks... read more
Eurasia is walking distance from my house on the road popularly known as avarekai road in Jayanagar 7th block. As we entered, the decor got a couple of oohs and aahs from us. Airy and full of natural light, we decided to sit downstairs rather than on the terrace.
Starters was a battle over Pita bread with hummus or Pita bread with muttabel. The Muttabel - roasted eggplant seasoned with spiced herbs and olive oil - won. The dish looked really cute when it come with pomegranate seeds decorating it. The muttabel tasted good, quite close to what is served in the Gulf. The olive oil was not... read more

Dear Ruth, We really appreciate the time you have taken to describe your visit with us and we wish we could make you our brand ambassador! It feels really good to know that we are doing something right and making a difference to enhance the pleasure of their magical moments with us!
The restaurant is on CMH road and is right now is a bit difficult to get to thanks to the metro construction.
The first thing that impressed us was the decor. Mangalore tiled roof each embedded with a rectangular glass that allowed a lot of natural lighting in.
Now to the food. The blackboards have the plat de jours which are set meals of soups/starters and main courses. We decided to go for a full course meal and started with the Potage or soup. We split a Soupe au pistou, which was described as Provencal soup with vegetables, pasta and flavored with pesto. This was really... read more
Kohinoor is more of blink and miss kind of place. Its bang opposite KFC and that's about as much of directions as you will need. The place can seat around 30 to 40 people at a time. Typical old time style in terms of seating with fixed stone tables and benches. We went to the "family room which had a swinging cowboy salon style door. The room was quite dingy with a fan that did not work but was clean. And honestly considering the crowd that comes here, there is absolutely no need for you to take the family to the "family room".
We ordered hubby's office standard, Ceylon parathas with... read more
