ok...so one of my rich uncles decided to take d whole family out 4 dinner to Masala bAY and boy I was really excited to be eating at a 5 star hotel,....to my surprise the food was just not up to the mark, we ordered typical Indian fare-nans, romali roti, chicken tikka etc...it was ok...not one dish was anything outstandin- deserts were good....try the gulab jamuns which were to die for..and the mocktails were good...my uncle paid d bill...but honeslty no one in my family was really satisfied wid d food...Overall ok, i wouldnt go back -

i moved to santacruz w a couple of years and since then our family's Sunday Nashta comes from this shop- there are 3 varieties of Dhoklas which are amazing, the samosas and chinese checkers are to die for, the patra is always flesh and the sweets melt in your mouth- try the strawberryy flavored malai sandwiches/ or the fresh n light thandhai served during janmashmi! Total , good, down to earth TREAT! -

had heard 4om my frnds abt GJs, was in Bandra so decided to go have a cuppa.. the ambience is quite nice & relazed, loads of foreignors n ppl on laptops n all..I ordered a chocolate cold coffee- and trust me it was horrible- der was no flavor in it and it tasted like a raw combo of water and milk- i had 2 send it back...the staff were nice and remade the coffee after I complained but it still wasnt uptp the mark- my college nesquik from the vending machine tastes better...anyways I also had a blueberry muffin whcih was ok n dry...the chocolate muffin was quite good. Ok...so some of my college gang who have just moved to Mumbai wanted to go see ' the happening places' I zeroed in on Blue Frog but trust me it was a disapointment!
first of all my frnds were already inside b4 10 pm- and wen I wanted to go in I was asked to pay an entry fee of 500bucks...this inspite of me telling him dat we were a big gang of abt 12 ppl- after 10 mins of haggling I gave 200 bucks and decided to go in- it was already cold and my heels were killing me! the whole place seemed so psyhedelic- music was way too loud ( no live music d night I went which was sad)the drinks were ridic... read more -

Beyond The Fringe Salon And Academy Juhu | 1 review
my frnd told me abt Beyond the fringe academy wherein you can get free haircuts if you show a student ID- so off I went, i really liked d place- the attendant was very polite and gave me a good head massage( which was necessary since I was a bit apprehensive abt a trainee cutting my hair) but anways she first did a hairwash and den proceeded to discuss with the head trainer what look to suit me, dey gave me bangs which looked absolutely amazin at d end of d day - the only drawback was that it took ages- I was at d salon for 2 hours- but since it was free It was fine -
