  • Used to be my favorite place, but now I'm worried. Feb 22, 2012

On Toes Juhu  |  10 reviews

Seriously, used to be my favorite place. The waiters seem to work there year after year, and always remember us. The music was always fun to listen to, the service was fast, the food was decent. I just liked it.

Last time I went there, it was a completely different vibe. Mind you, they remodeled about a year ago, and also sent some of their staff to work at the new Bandra location (Linking Road, opp. Shoppers Stop).

Anyway, the vibe seemed to have shifted to "slightly overweight older men with garish accessories and open collars, dancing with women that don't seem to be

Sabai Foot Spa Bandra West  |  5 reviews

Bee (sp?) and her crew of amazing thai masseuses are the perfect end to a loud, hot, chaotic day of shopping in Bandra. I have been here probably 20 times (if not more).

It's dark, quiet and smells amazing inside.

Rs1000 for an hour, including 45 minutes on the feet & legs, and 15 minutes on the head / neck / shoulders.

I'll be back again this weekend.

Food Bazaar Andheri West  |  1 review

I like this store but hate that they treat their target customers as criminals. Last time I was there, I was appalled and horrified to find that I had to put my purse into a clear plastic tote which was locked with zipties, to be unlocked only by the cashier at checkout.

When I asked the ladies locking up my purse, if this is how they treat their customers, I was given a smile and a "Yes, Madam."

I understand the concept of loss prevention and that any company needs to take measures to protect themselves from loss. I do, however, think that they have missed the point (dismally)

Vie Lounge and Deck Juhu  |  51 reviews

I was really excited about going to Sunday Brunch at Vie Lounge, which was recommended to me by so many people!

Unfortunately, it was lame. I'll keep it short:

Totally inappropriate music: I love me some gangsta rap as much as the next girl, but not at brunch with my mother in law. Also it wasn't so much Gangsta Rap as, crunk music or something. Song lyrics ranged from "Girls rub your titties" to "Lick it lick it lick it lick it".

Way too loud: Music was way to loud for a hangover on a Sunday morning. They need to figure out that people at a Sunday brunch left the

The Shooters Bar Juhu  |  2 reviews

Here I go again with my biased reviews. This is what happens when you actually stay at the Ramada Plaza Palm Grove off and on for the last three years, you grow an affinity to the Shooter's Bar and its awesome bar staff.

The prices are steep - comparitively speaking - but the staff is fantastic, friendly, fast, the drinks are well made and the bar snacks are great.

I highly recommend the dry chili chicken.

If you're NOT an out-of-towner (rather, if you're a local), there's probably no real reason to come here. It's expensive and empty by comparison. But, sometim
