It came down from a 4 star to a 2 star just because of the attitude and sloooow service. First let me start with the positives: the place is green and lots of parking inside. Just the place in bangalore you would like to imagine going. Food was good but not great. The vegetables like bhindi tawa, baigan-ka-bharta and daal with naan and tandoori roti were good or rather above average. Chicken was also good. But the

We went to bamboo shoots on the nov 24th for lunch. It was my birthday but we didn't disclose this. Nice food. Excellent ambience and very friendly staff.
My younger son blurted out in the middle of the meal that it was my birthday. They got us a complementary sweet dish with a couple of candles lit over it. That was cute of them. -

Good chicken tikkas - mouth melting rather. Dal makhani was also reasonable. Bread basket was decent. Good view of city. Nice space and ambience - just a little shabby / unmaintained. Billing was a bit of trouble as the citibank credit card discount was not provided to us. Overall good food, and need to try this for dinner once more. -

I am a frequent visitor to FL.I must admit my children still love the pack aways which we do usually. We also tried their breakfast last time a few months back and it was not bad. Today my son insisted we have breakfast at FL and persuaded me to join him (mainly to pay the bill). Gosh what have they done to their customer handling skills. First they had 20-30% items not available. Then they miss half items on excuse that we did not tick-mark them in their ordering form (they never insisted earlier). The ambience was rustic but still pleasing. Waiters were trying to over impress but finally could manage to explain the preparations well. The Portugese Chicken Espetada as starter was delicious. Chicken Tagine as main course was well made. The dessert "Apple Streusel Cheese" cake was simply melting in our mouth.
Overall a very pleasant experience. Would definitely go again to try some more dishes. -
