Newly opened places generally don't disappoint. There lies a fear of competition, wanting appreciation, the sense of building a brand, and the responsibility of garnering support from loyal patrons.
The Bubblegum Route (TBR) has taken quite the same path.
Ambiance: Fresh and juicy with eye-pleasing pastel colors splashed on the walls. A visual treat, which enables you to sink into the atmosphere right away as soon as you enter the restaurant. The seating is comfortable and cozy. The lighting is not too loud and apt for the set-up. The music is Bollywood chart-busters.

My wife and I aren't exactly fans of cinnamon products but passing by the Carter Road outlet so often, we wanted to try out Cinnabon just to know what the crowds are about. A deal from Snapdeal gave us exactly the opportunity and excuse we were looking for to visit this place. So, there we were on one friday night, post 10 pm, all set to let our taste buds do the talking.

What might have started as a humble joint, has now graduated into an over-hyped run-of-the-mill coastal restaurant.
As kids, we used to love eating at this place. And yep, those were the days. The attitude of the staff (incl. the owner) has changed quite a lot with the changing times. The quality (and quantity) of food has gone substantially down. The servings are too meagre even for the average eater.
Yes, the hype still invites a sea of people from all corners of mumbai, but I doubt the repeat value. During weekends, never trust them if they ask you to wait for 15-20 mins.... read more -

Satiating Burrps and Wonderful Memories. That's all what this place is all about. Have been here almost 7-8 times .. and everytime it has been a new experience to talk about.
I wont term myself a gourmet and I havnt even been to China to know what authentic chinese is all about. But this place, for me, is the epitome of chinese cuisine.

I do agree to a large extent with the sole review on this place. Horrible service. I guess they are short of manpower. But this is not an excuse. Pitted against a few of the best places for Malvani food (Sadiccha & Highway Gomantak), the owners should have done their homework.
Food is nothing to write about. Had ordered for a surmai thali which came after almost 20-25 mins. The food wasnt as piping hot, as expected. The surmai curry was lukewarm. They could hav been a li'l more generous with the portions. The surmai didnt seem fresh at all.
