Based on the rave reviews I'd been hearing and reading about CPK, a friend and I decided to see for ourselves what the hype was all about. The decor and service are both excellent, but once you get to the food, it's all downhill from there. By the end of the meal, I was left pondering two possibilities - nobody I know has standards when it comes to food, or we just got plain unlucky on the day.
The meal started off on a sour note when we were given flat Pepsi after having asked for Coke. The Moroccan Salad and Adobe Chicken Chowder provided some form of redemption but that was short-lived.... read more

I've visited this place about 5 times so far, and every time, it's more or less the same story. We usually come here to watch football matches (when the TV at home is being hogged by granny dearest, watching her excessively tear-filled family dramas) and get there when the place isn't too full. We manage to get ourselves seats after waiting around for 10-15 mins.
The second we're seated, a friendly waiter comes and asks what we'll have. We ask him to please return in 5 minutes, so we can decide (we're generally in a group so yeah, we take a while). 30 seconds later, another friendly waite... read more -

Four of us went here for an office dinner just last week and we were quite honestly blown away. The entire hotel itself has been done up beautifully and tastefully. There is a definite exuberance in the decor, exuding class all the while. We chose to dine at 022 because of the variety of cuisines we were told they served.

I have long been a big fan of Subway and will continue to be, but this place is a disappointment, in a lot of ways.
For one, the employees have NO knowledge of how to make a sub. For me, making a good sandwich is an art (fine, i'm obsessed. so sue me!). Whatever the reason, there is no effort put into making the subs here. Specific things I hate about this place:
1. The bread is crusty and cold (though I must note, by mistake, once, i DID get fresh and soft bread. just once though!)

Two words - Philadelphia Cheesecake!
I fell in love with this place the moment I stepped in. Sure, it's noisy and everything, but it has a charm about it. Considering it's smack-dab in the middle of one of Mumbai's most chaotic areas, it's a nice place to kick back or even have official meetings.
Some of their coffees are nice, others aren't worth writing home about. But courteous staff, super food (did I mention Philadelphia Cheesecake?!) and an overall top-notch ambience with lovely music make for a great experience! A definite must-try! -
