Having heard great reviews about this place, I finally decided to check it out tonight with a couple of friends. Yes, long overdue but better late than never right? Firstly, what sort of Italian place doesn't offer a bread basket? I mean, for the kind of money that they charge for the food, I expect a complimentary bread basket. Anyhoo, moving on to the food. We ordered their cheese jalapeño poppers which were so-so. Little did I know that that probably would be the best thing I'd eat all evening. The chicken starter wasn't bad. Okay, I have no qualms in shelling out money for decent service and food. But if you're going to charge me exorbitantly and then give me terrible service, I will strike back with vengeance. The boyfriend and I decided to eat at Spaghetti Kitchen post a wonderful show at The Comedy Club. Bad decision. We should have stuck to Indigo.
Anyhoo, when we got there, it was fairly crowded but we did find a spot. The ambience was so-so. I guess part of the reason is it's unattractive location smack in the middle of all the crowd and so I can let that be.

Three of us decided to check it out tonight (Thu night). I'd already heard that they didn't serve beef in any form(big surprise!) so that wasn't a part of the "after-I-got-there" disappointment.
We enetered at around 8.30 pm and the place was fairly full. They have a bar where you can sit but it was going to be a no alcohol night so we chose a table instead. The hostess at the door was friendly enough and found us a table pretty soon. The decor was good. The music sucked. But you know, so far so good.
