Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
Had lunch today at the recently opened Jumjoji in Bandra (near Leelavati - same road as Candies in Bandra Reclamation).
Excellent experience - we had chicken sticks, mutton dhansak, chicken salli, lagan nu custard & chocolate crunch pudding. The starter and the main course dishes we had would get a 5/5, though I would give the desserts a 3/5 or maybe a 3.5/5.

The ambience is very nice - be warned, though, that it is a small place with about 6 or 7 tables.
Small place. As the kitchen starts preparing the order, you get fumes (complimentary !) sitting at your table. We had to ask for the main door to be kept open so that the fumes can find their way to destinations other than our nostrils and throats !

Though we went on a Sunday, I reckon traffic would... read more
I am a diehard fan of Mainland China and hence find it difficult to write anything negative about them. But the service at this (Powai) restaurant is really really bad. After a couple of bad experiences, we have shifted back to the Saki Naka outlet of Mainland China - the service there is superb. Never going back to the Powai outlet.
They had also started taking home delivery orders for Oh Calcutta from the Powai outlet. The food quality was bad. Mangsho was undercooked. Loochis seemed to have been reheated. Cold food. My request to the team there : please do not kill the Oh Calcutta... read more
