Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
The food here is fantastic and value for money. I headed to Mangalore Pearl for the Bombay Duck or Bombil as its called, because it had been a long time since I had this in Mumbai and Goa. It was totally worth it. But what really took me by surprise was the Solkadi, a spicy appetizing drink, which is extremely refreshing in the heat of the summer. And the special mention has to go to the prawn roast masala, which we had with neer dosa. This is by far the best prawn masala I have ever had, perfectly spiced and flavored with a thick gravy. The staff here were courteous and helpful, and the service... read more
I love this place!!! Many of my friends didn't recommend a visit here on account of it being too expensive, but I simply had to see what goes on in here. I came here with another friend of mine on a regular Saturday afternoon, after a spectacular ride on the Metro rail. We ordered a beer for me, and a breezer for my friend and a Tupelo Chicken to go with it. This was simply the best stuff I've eaten in a long time, and believe you me, I've eaten a lot :) It consists of the most succulent pieces of large chicken fingers, rolled in the most perfectly prepared crumbs and fried. Simple, yet exquisite.... read more
20 feet high has a good laid back ambiance. We were a rather large group of guys on a reunion of sorts on a Sunday afternoon, many of us vegetarians. We ordered veg starters and a few bottles of beer to wash it down with. The panneer fingers seemed stale, so we ordered a veg quesidilla, even though the ingredients of which were fresh, was even more disappointing in terms of taste. Undeterred we ordered the main course consisting of a pasta with pesto sauce, veg lasagna and for the non vegetarians we ordered a pasta and a Monterrey jack BBQ chicken, all of which were of good portions and quality.... read more
Well I've been to Veekes and Thomas twice, once at their JP Nagar outlet and the other time at Residency Road. The one at Residency Road is small and the table size rather limits your number of orders which is sad. Because the items on the menu are so affordable that you really feel like trying out a number of them. We ordered the chicken crostini which was so good that we simply had to order one more. For the main course we had the basa fish in lemon and butter sauce. The flavours of lemon and butter combine brilliantly with the boneless fish to make it very delicious. My friend ordered the smoked... read more

This place being parked on the side lanes of a bustling area, takes you away from all the bustle of the city. The calm and refreshing ambience is what sets this place apart. Even though I arrived with arrived in the afternoon on a very hot day it was quite cool under the canopy of the mango tree. Yes, this restaurant is actually under a huge tree. We had an absolutely sinful yet delectable spinach, bacon and cheese crepe to go with our kiwi sparkle drinks. We chose the pan tossed fish and the prawn gambo for the main course. We would have loved to finish with a dessert, but the crepe was way too... read more
