erm, I know someone here wrote that the donuts were not hot, but donuts were not meant to be microwaved. ever. if you do not get them straight out of the fryer, they are meant to be eaten at room temperature. which is how donut baker serves them. people in india are used to microwaved donuts because places like Coffee Day put their mass produced, disgusting donuts in refrigerated cases, which should never happen. then in order to have them be chewable, they put them in the microwave, which ruins the texture.
Donut baker serves donuts as they should be. At least they did last time I was -

All I can say is that I never felt so lucky to live so close to a restaurant! I am Italian, and so I am naturally difficult to please when it comes to Italian cuisine.
Via Milano is amazing!!!!!
First of all the decor and the service is impeccable. I went with my parents, my husband and our infant daughter. The staff did their best to seat us away from tables that were smoking, and made sure to check on us frequently. When my dad's beer tasted off (it was oxidized) they replaced it immediately, no questions asked.

The first time I went to Umerkot about a year ago, I was bowled over. Every dish we ordered was impeccable.. the kebabs, the dum aloo, the lotus seeds, the biryani. All 4 of us that went were very impressed with the quality of the dishes, the attentiveness of the service, the ambiance, etc.
My husband and I went back a couple month later and sat and scratched our heads. Nothing seemed the same. The food was passable but not delicious, even though we ordered a few of the same dishes. The kebabs were dry and not very flavorful. And the service was slow.

Madhu Menon takes his food seriously. You only have to talk to him once to realize that. And his restaurant, Shiok, reflects his amazing food knowledge and his commitment to providing an authentic pan-asian culinary experience to his customers.
You won't find any gobi manchurian at this restaurant (and don't bother to ask for it either unless you want a stern rebuke!). As an expat, this is where I go when I want a good burger or a steak. I have tried just about every other place in the city, and no one does it like The Only Place.
The steaks are grilled and come out to order. When you tell them medium rare, it comes out that way. And the cuts are flavorful and generous. For anyone who has a taste for beef, this is the place you should head. I have not messed around with any of the creamy or cheesy or BBQ sauces. I am a steak purist... I stick with the Delmonico or the Chateaubriand and I have never been disappointed.

Read your review and have had Chef Tyagi revisit all the recipes again. We have conducted a fresh menu tasting and now I assure you that you will have a nice time on your next visit. However, we have spiced up the food a bit, due to popular demand, thus you can order otherwise by requesting the wait staff.
