My wife and I should have realised, that the fact that there was not a single review posted for this place was an indication of the things to come ..
Had seen this place from the outside for years everytime I went to the beach ... had never been to it until last Saturday nite .. since it was a weekend, I called up and reserved a table for 5 at 8:30 p.m.
As it turned out, till 11:30 p.m., we were the only occupants of the restaurant ..

I've lost count of the number of times that I've frequented this quaint cafe ... on Hill road, if you blink while you are on the lookout for this place, you will miss it .. the place is right next to Godrej Nature’s basket .. they share a glass partition and you can peep in directly into the store’s well stocked wine cellar ..
Since Hill Road is bustling with traffic all day long, would recommend you come in a little early to find parking .. there is no valet parking available ..

My fiancee got me here first. Been here a couple of times after that before I actually sat down to write about it. And as I sit to write I realise that there is actually a system of responding to the reviews. A thumbs up for some of the prompt responses by the Management.
Now the review. The place proudly displays the "Burper's Choice Award Certificate" on the wall. Need I say more? Yup, the place is good.

I'd like to start with the Cheese n Onion hot dog. The item is priced such because of the cost to us from the manufacturer, who makes the sausage especially for us, and is supposed to have melted cheese with the sausage. The fried onions are an automatic add on, and also available with the regular hot dog. Courtesy it's location, the place is usually frequented by lawyers. Needless to say thats how I found my inway into this place.
The place is located in Fort and the best way to locate it is to go straight from Kandeel Restaurant (a landmark in itself)...you'll land up bang opposite Milan
The Cafe is located at a corner and is adorned with pictures of erstwhile Bombay on the walls and accommodates a modest sitting of around 9 tables. The place is nice wid both outdoor seating as well as the air conditioned area. Can accommodate a gud number of people.
