Satyanarayan Lunch Home Goregaon East  |  1 review

Fish lovers, this is the place to go for some fresh and hot fish curry rice. One of the few places in Bombay where Rs.100 will still get you a fish (Rawas / Pomfret / Surmai / Prawn) lunch (thali) and a soft drink too. The lunch has and option of roti or chappati, one fried piece of fish, fish curry and rice. The prawn thali has a generous quantity of prawn masala and prawn curry. Don't go here for a hurried lunch as things are made fresh - so be prepared to wait for 10 - 15 minutes to be served after you place your order.

For non fish eaters, you have the option of chicken or mutton

Sky Cafe Fort  |  15 reviews

Went here towards the end of November and first had Chicken Roulades in Onion and Sage Sauce and Fish in Creamy Mustard Lemon Sauce... That was it.... We've now been here 5/6 times in the past month. Their continental food is very tasty - also try their Chicken Stroganoff, Pan Fried Chicken in Basil, Steak in Dijon Honey Sauce and on and on....

Beware of their Chinese/Thai food... still work in progress though I'm sure they will get it right ultimately.

Desserts have definitely improved in the past month with the Tiramisu now to die for and a simple but good baked cheese

Bellagio Bistro Fort  |  38 reviews

You blink and you miss..... Bellagio is has a small entrance opposite customs house/Asiatic Library. A small nook, once inside it feels like a comfy small cafe.

Try the lemon grass cooler was refreshing - heaven sent for a summer afternoon. The Greek Salad with feta cheese and the Spinach and Ricotta cheese Ravioli was simply delicious.

While the place is a bit pricy, food is tasty, desserts could have been a bit better. The waiter warned us that the mousse had rum and it seemed to have not even a drop and it was not as smooth as one would like.

The Banyan Tree Fort  |  11 reviews

Located in one of the by-lanes of Fort, next to Cathedral School, was surprised to find it open even at 10.30 in the night (being in a commercial area).

This outlet is quite different compared to the original ''Únder the Banyan Tree'' at Peddar Road. Nice seating, air conditioned comfort and good music all help in giving the place a nice ambience.

The food is very tasty with the thin crust pizza's being really thin and crispy. The blackened chicken satay is a different take on satays and yummy - must try. Their cakes are divine and sinful as usual!!!

    Service was

Punjab Grill Lower Parel  |  95 reviews

Being valentines day, Punjab Grill made the most of it. They had a set menu - three course meal costing Rs.1250 (Rs.999 + taxes).

There were 4 different starters (one of each for a person) which included 2 chicken starters, 1 fish and a veg (paneer). The chicken preparations were quite similar and the fish could definitely have been better. The paneer starter, served with a very tasty sauce (honey-chilli?) was the best. They could however have done with some variety for the 2 chicken starters which tasted pretty much the same, i.e. have two very distinctly different flavoured chicken
