It has returned and it is better than ever! Contemporary, clean lines, excellent F&B, Butler service for every room, the most unbelievable views of the sea from most guest rooms and from Ziya, their contemporary Indian restaurant. They also offer 24/7 spa appointments and Business Centre.
I have returned and stayed in what they call thier Oberoi Executive Suites and it is perfect for my needs! -

Welcome back Oberoi! Fenix (formally Tiffin) has come back to life better than ever! The Sunday Brunch with Bollinger champagne is wonderful as all alacarte items are made fresh to order rather than sitting in pans in the restaurant like Four Seasons or Taj.
Sushi selection at night is also plentiful with over 80 types of sushi. The American type burger was wonderful, must have been influenced by that American GM there and the Indian cusine was also fresh and excellent. -

I will never eat in a Japanese restaurant again that does not have japanese eating there.
I will stick to Fenix @ The Oberoi where they have 80 different types of sushi or the Japanese restaurant at the Taj (can't remember as I was there only once becasue it was so expensive).
They use Scottish salmon the waiter said at Fenix and everything was fresh! -

I am so pleased this restaurant is open again in South Mumbai and it is better than ever!
Fresh pastas made ala minute, the ingredients of Italy on your plates and one of the best selections of Italian wines and grappa in Mumbai!
I throughly enjoyed my meal and can't wait to return! -
